We breed dairy sheep breed, Trenta – Bovec sheep. Cheese factory Jelinc has been famous for its sheep cheese and curd cheese for more than 20 years.
We make Bovec cheese by following a traditional, more than 700-year-old, recipe. Cheese with herbs and traditional naturally-made Bovec cheese »Trentar,« are true winners that got us golden awards.
The second traditional product that is made from whey is Albumin curd cheese. Albumin curd cheese can be used for various desserts or it can be salted.
We also make soft Feta-type cheese and classic or herb cheese spreads. You can taste and buy cheese and curd cheese on our farm. Our products are not for sale anywhere else.
